In Reiki 1 (which is all that some people desire), Reiki students learn a spiritual practice for self-healing and healing of family and friends and animals. Experience a spiritual healing practice that enhances self-care routines, personal growth and encourages awareness of  “being present”.  Reiki really is the gift that keeps on giving.  This level is a personal practice, and is not intended to equip students for professional treatment practice.  To become a Reiki Treatment practitioner or for those who wish to extend or to go more deeply into their practice, additional levels of Reiki training are required.  Being a financial member of a Reiki Association is required when becoming a Reiki Treatment practitioner.
